Hi Dad

Hi Dad,

Your sheer wisdom has always inspired me. How you manage to say the simplest words yet have the biggest impact over me, leaves me amazed. I am grateful that I am able to learn from you.

Through you I am reminded to be humble, from hearing all of your stories, from such a wise man who still manages to keep both his feet planted firmly on the ground.

I remember sitting on your lap, I would listen as you tell me stories about well…everything. I am grateful that I get to admire such a great man who I get to call my father.

Your careful hands have continued to guide me on the path that I am today, the same hands that have molded me into someone who is proud to stand in front of you. You have constantly held me, in order to protect me from any harm that may come my way. You did your best to push away all that would hurt me.

You share your love with us through the most special ways. I grew up watching you work every day in order to provide for us. It was never easy watching you have to sacrifice so much for the love of your family. Through it all, you always had the energy to play with your children or help us with our homework.

You never, even once, made us feel that we were taken for granted. You made every day fun, even though we saw how mama would scold you for that. You did everything with a beaming smile on your face.

I know that I rarely say this, but thank you.

Thank you for always being there despite how difficult it was. It’s my turn to care for you, through giving you healthcare insurance because you deserve to be cared for.

I want to make sure that through healthcare insurance you experience the same care and protection you have constantly provided for me.

I know that this is not enough to repay you for all the love that you have shown me. But this is a good start.
