And I realized when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know. Mitch Albom, For One More Day
No love is truer than that of your mother’s. Each mother is like a piece of art, immeasurable, incomparable, but never impossible to love.
Remember her as the woman who loves you so much that she gave birth to you, cared for you, and helped mold you into the person that you are today.
Being selfless always comes naturally to her. She sat by your bedside, tending to you day and night while you had that high fever. She was the one that held your hand tight at the doctor’s office, while you were getting shots.
She always made sure that her baby was feeling alright.
Your mother is a warrior.
She protects you from all the harms and evils in this world. She always made sure that you were wearing your helmet when you were learning how to ride a bike. She nagged you into eating all of your vegetables, or taking your vitamins.
She hugged you and consoled you, when she found out that the kids at school were bullying you.
And she always let you know that everything would be fine, and you felt comforted by her words, because she was brave enough to stand up for you, when no one else would.
Mother always knows best.
Being the first one to teach you how to walk, talk, sit, and stand; she believed that you were always the best student. Well, the best at everything actually.
More importantly, some of life’s biggest lessons came from her.
She opened your eyes to imagination, and taught you to discover knowledge and adventure beyond the classroom.
Mothers will always put their children first. Kids may not get it at first, but a mothers love means more than a gift of roses, or chocolates.
Indeed, motherhood is the noblest profession in the world – it is a 24/7 service, with no days off, no sick leaves, no rest days, and no salaries.
Somehow, she made it all look so easy, like coming out of the battle unscathed. That’s how selfless she is, she puts your needs before hers.
